Michael earned a B.S. at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), an M.A. at San Francisco State University, and has continued his executive education at Harvard and Stanford Business Schools. He is an Accredited Executive Associate of the Institute for Independent Business and a Professor of Management and Organizational Change at Western International University.
A resident of Phoenix, Michael is involved in local government.

Before founding The Leeman Group, Michael was Partner at NerveWire, an IT services firm and at Northeast Consulting, a Boston-based strategy consultancy. Prior to Northeast Consulting, he was Chief Marketing Officer at Millipore Corporation, Sr. VP Marketing at Waters Instruments and General Manager of DuPont NEN Life Sciences.
Originally, a native of Wales, Mike earned a BA in Business Studies from Swansea College of Technology, and is an Accredited Associate of The Institute for Independent Business.
He currently lives in Fountain Hills where he serves as a Board member of the Chamber of Commerce and is the Chairman of the Fountain Hills Strategic Plan Advisory Commission.
Michael Tyler works with companies and business owners to develop and implement financial strategies that support business growth; these include mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, an area where he has considerable knowledge and experience.
Prior to starting Anchor Business Consulting, Mike was President & CEO of Valley National Gases Inc, a publicly quoted distributor of industrial products with 80 locations throughout the Eastern US. Before that he worked for Praxair Inc, an Industrial Gases Fortune 500 Company, in a number of senior leadership roles, in both Europe and North America.


Jim Favier has earned a reputation for providing consistently profitable growth as a business advisor, general manager, and sales and marketing manager for Fortune 500 companies, international Joint Ventures and entrepreneurial startups. He is well versed with small companies having grown up in a family business that supplied garden and farm equipment.
Before starting his consulting career, Jim was GM - Chemicals and President of a multinational joint venture partially owned by Honeywell. He also held senior positions at Olin Corporation, was President of a joint venture between Olin, Ciba Geigy and Fuji Photo Film, and was a founder of Southwest Microelectronic Materials.
Jim holds a Master of Administrative Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Economics from Cornell University. He is an Accredited Executive Associate of The Institute for Independent Business. Jim is also Six Sigma Greenbelt certified.
He has been active in the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI), and National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI).
A Scottsdale resident, Jim currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Purepak Technology, Proplastic Technology and Quantum Clean.
